Overview

The purpose of the Flutter in-car dashboard app is to allow the driver to safely interact with a multitude of first-party Toyota services and also 3rd party media services such as Pandora, Spotify, SXM, etc. My primary role on the project was to update a lot of UI/UX in the media section of the app through multiple iterations. This included working working with Flutter on the frontend as well as updating some Rust related middleware code.

Working as a Developer at a 100% Remote Company

While the majority of my time at VGV was working on the Toyota project, it's worth pointing out how much care VGV has put into making sure that all remote employees still felt like a family. Even many some of us were working from different timezones, we always made sure to accommodate one another when possible.
